About the job:

The prospective candidate will be responsible for helping to develop and sustain state-of-the-art power management products using advanced tools and technology and be capable of contributing to the growth of the VRS (Voltage Reference and Supervisor) PE group. As a Product Engineer in VRS, the individual will play an important role in the development and maintenance of analog power ICs such as series and shunt precision references and power management supervisors that are designed for use in a broad range of end equipment.

Working with design, applications, systems, test, and marketing engineers in a team oriented environment, this individual will be responsible for all aspects of the development product engineering job function beginning at product definition and culminating at production release and market launch.

Key responsibilities:

•,Own product qualification planning and execution through production release to ensure the product is compliant with manufacturing and reliability specs

•,Design and validate reliability HW to execute the qualification

•,Product temperature characterization via ATE HW/SW solution and production test limit setting to ensure product manufacturability and performance per product spec

•,Drive Failure Analysis efforts to diagnose and disposition qualification/characterization failures as needed

Basic Qualifications:

•,Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study

•,5 years experience in analog semiconductor product development

•,Solid circuit level and bench analysis skills

•,Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•,Capable of leveraging her/his PE expertise to help advance overall PE group development and work process efficiency improvement activity

Preferred Qualifications:

•,Familiarity with power management ICs and automotive product development is highly desired
