TI’s legal department is seeking a talented Patent Attorney with a background in semiconductor engineering within the Embedded Processors, Device Manufacturing, and Analog Design space. As a Patent Attorney at TI, you will immerse yourself in our cutting-edge technologies, developing a thorough understanding that will enable you to create inventive patent strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting in-depth analysis of various technologies.
Drafting and prosecuting patent applications in alignment with strategic goals.
Collaborating with engineering teams to identify patentable inventions.
Developing and maintaining a portfolio of patents in the designated area of expertise.
Providing legal counsel on patent-related matters, including infringement and licensing.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field
Juris Doctor (JD) degree
4 years of patent prosecution experience
Registration as a patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
Admission in good standing with a state legal bar
Experience with patent application and prosecution
Preferred Qualifications :
3 years of experience as an engineer or scientist in a technical role
Experience and familiarity with processor architectures, digital signal processing, machine learning, digital communications, or integrated circuit design
