Texas Instruments Engineering Technician - SC Packaging R&D - 1st/Day Shift (Dallas - North Campus) in Dallas, Texas

Texas Instruments is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be working in a semiconductor packaging development lab and will be responsible for running packaging assembly tools like wafer saw, wire bonder, and others. You will interface and communicate with different groups to understand their requirements and develop an appropriate assembly process. You will also be encouraged to work on other opportunities like creating multiple power point reports and running different material characterization tools.
Responsibilities include:
Interface with different groups and understand packaging assembly requirements
Develop and run appropriate recipes on the assembly tools like Wafer Saw Wire Bonder
Learn and run material characterization tools like Optical Microscopes, Die Shear/Wire Shear, DSC/TGA
Extract data from multiple databases and prepare PowerPoint reports
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Associates degree in engineering or related field and 5 years of Technician level experience in any industry, OR
High School Diploma/GED and 5 Years of Military experience in a relevant Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), OR
High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of Technician Level experience working in a Semiconductor environment
Preferred qualifications:
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Basic Proficiency on Microsoft Office – Word, Powerpoint, Excel
Good listener and strong verbal and written communication skill
Passion to learn new skills
