About the Job:
We are seeking an equipment engineer to support equipment and systems across the group. As an equipment owner you will oversee installations, modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of assigned equipment. You will focus on improving tool stability metrics (availability, fails, first pass success, etc.), driving cycle time improvements, and developing innovative solutions to achieve the highest quality equipment performance while maintaining cost goals. The ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and drive to identify root cause of fails is a requirement for this position. This job also requires good communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration across multiple factory groups and vendor supported equipment.
Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field of study
One year of experience working on semiconductor equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Brooks AMHS equipment experience
Murata AMHS equipment experience
Ability / willingness to work in a team environment to the Fab goals
Knowledge of Perl, VBScript, and Microsoft Data Base is a plus
Ability to quickly gather and analyze data to resolve issues
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects
Ability to effectively deal with a dynamically changing environment
Must be able to communicate and effectively work with others on cross functional teams
Must be able to work with aggressive timelines and drive for timely results that meet or exceed Fab goals
