Here's your chance to work as part of a dynamic and challenging engineering team on the latest semiconductor technology within the Analog Technology Development team.

The ATD team creates world-class manufacturing technologies by:

•Developing new process platforms with step-function improvements in performance and cost

•Extending roadmap process technologies with new features, models and reduced costs

•Creating innovative, breakthrough technologies for new markets and new products

This position is open to interns with an MS or PhD in electrical engineering or physics. Graduate/Under-graduate course work in circuits and device physics is required. We’re searching for a hands-on experimentalist with the proven ability to plan scientific experiments to prove hypothesis. PhD projects or internship experience in a similar area would be a plus.

In this role, you will be working on problems that arise from design-process interaction that is not captured by conventional models and simulation techniques. Circuit analysis enables optimization of new technologies and designs and is critical to new product and technology ramps. The candidate will have to collaborate with his/her peers and leverage their experience and available resources to complement their skills and integrate quickly with the team.

Success in this role requires the ability to communicate effectively across multiple organizations within the company. Good written and verbal communication skills, evidenced by publications in peer reviewed scientific journals, presentations to technical conferences, or teaching undergraduate/graduate courses at an accredited university, is required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related degree

• Minimum Cumulative 3.0 GPA
